Support to the professional training of employees in chemical sector and related sectors
The Association of the Latvian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry (LAKIFA) implements project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERAF) “Support to the professional training of employees in chemical sector and related sectors (2016-2022)” (No. 1.2.2.1/16/A/001).
Aim of the project is improvement of the skills of employees of chemical sector and related sectors, training them in areas set as priority in the Smart specialization strategy and related to the identified, new competitiveness niches of the sector, development and/or implementation of new products, technologies or services, improvement of productivity or performance of Research & Development (R&D) activities.
Result of the project is to provide support to at least 65 companies, training more than 1250 employees.
Project implementation period: March 2016 – December 31, 2023.
Total eligible costs of the project are 2’489’090 EUR, out of them 1’897’600 EUR is support of ERAF.
