Glass fibre

Glass fibre is a completely natural material, ecologically pure and non-harmful to human health; it is formed from one the earth`s most abundant materials - quartz sand mineral. Melted in a furnace at 1580°C with other raw materials, the resultant liquid glass melt is spun into fibres. Binders are added to make the material stable and water repellent.

Nettings or mesh

Woven glass fibre mesh are made from 2 different types of glass: E-glass 600°C and SiO2-glass 1000+°C. Each glass type is providing its own specific qualities.

Stitch-bonded mats

Stitch-bonded mats are excellent non-woven products for the insulation market, which are produced using E-glass with a thermal resistance of 600°C. Glass fibre mats are environmentally-friendly, recyclable, and incombustible, meeting the requirements of DIN 4102.

Composite fabrics

We produce composite fabrics from E-glass with thermal resistance of loom state fabric 600°C and SiO2-glass with thermal resistance of 1000+°C, dependent on end-use requirements and by adapting to each type of fabric to achieve maximum strength. Production range from economical unsaturated polyester to phenolic and polyimides.

Coated fabrics

Finishes such as coatings have an additional effect on the temperature resistance. Application features from coating: improved abrasion and cut resistance, flame-resistance, protection against liquid metal.
